I don’t have a life. To compensate, I listen to many investor calls in the semiconductor industry and calls from companies that rely on the semiconductor industry. The calls follow some protocols with the scope of what kind of information is released, and half of it is typically just rattling through prepared remarks.
The second half is questions from a handpicked (I have tried to ask questions, but someone else is the right breed) group of analysts from large banks. They typically try to get information from the CEO about the next quarter as this is one of their objectives - to call the next quarter.
After an hour and change, everybody can return to work for 13 weeks before the next call.
